Pricing & Packages

We believe in transparent pricing. Here’s what to expect when you work with Step by Steppe Organizing in Charlotte, NC. Organizing supplies used on any project, consultation, or package are billed separately.

Consultations

A consultation is required for all first-time clients.

Home Consultation: $150. A 1–2 hour on-site walkthrough, an organizational assessment, and a written plan for your space.

Move Consultation: $250. Two hours total, about one hour at each home, plus a plan covering both the pare-down at your current home and the unpack at your new one.

Unpack-Only Consultation: $150. A walkthrough of your new home and a plan for your unpack.

A deposit is required to secure dates for all move and unpack-only projects, based on the size and scope of the project. For full moves, that’s typically $2,500–$3,500 (about $2,500 for a ~3,000 sq ft home, up to $3,500 for homes 6,000+ sq ft).

Hourly Rates

Organizers: $75/hour per organizer (2 organizers: $150/hour; 3 organizers: $225/hour)

Unpackers: $35/hour per unpacker. On move projects, our unpackers handle the unboxing so our organizers can focus on organizing. The result is a faster, more efficient, more cost-effective move-in.

Shopping & Product Sourcing: $35/hour

Saturdays: +$5/hour. Closed Sundays.

4-hour minimum per project.

Packages

Would you rather pick a team size than do the hourly math? Our packages use the same $75/hour rate, bundled for simplicity. Each is one 6-hour project day (10am–4pm), with supplies billed separately.

The Essential Steppe: 2 organizers × 6 hours = $900

The Signature Steppe: 4 organizers × 6 hours = $1,800

The Ultimate Steppe: 6 organizers × 6 hours = $2,700

Scheduling & Travel

Standard project hours are 10am–4pm, Monday–Friday. Saturdays are available at the rate above.

There’s no extra charge anywhere in the Charlotte metro area. Outside the metro, travel fees apply (travel time, mileage, and room and board for overnight projects).

Donations & Haul-Away

Post-project donation drop-off is included, up to 30 minutes on the clock. We work to get your donations to the places you prefer.

Large-scale hauling or trash removal is arranged by your Project Manager through our trusted partners, with your approval first.
